Dentists for Rural Areas Assistance Program
The Dentists for Rural Areas Assistance Program (DRAA) is a state of Georgia funded loan repayment program for dentists who wish to practice in a rural Georgia county. Dentists can receive up to $25,000 per year for practicing in a board approved county with a population of 35,000 or less.

Physicians for Rural Areas Assistance Program
The PRAA program pays medical education student loan debt (up to $25,000) for physicians who agree to practice medicine full-time in a rural Georgia community for 12 months in a Board-approved Georgia county with a population of 35,000 or fewer persons. The deadline for application submission is November 1st of each year.

SMEB Scholarship Program
This Scholarship Program provides up to $20,000 per year to help pay the cost of medical school in return for a contractual obligation to practice medicine full-time (minimum of 40 hours per week) in a Board-approved Georgia county with a population of 35,000 or fewer persons.
